Nicholas Palumbo
CEO & Founder
Nicholas Palumbo obtained the highest appraisal license offered by New York State in 1992. He has appraised thousands of residential and commercial properties in various states for every major lender. In 1998, he founded The Money Express and has since closed hundreds of millions of dollars in residential and commercial loans. Nick has relationships with hundreds of lenders throughout the United States. Loan originators throughout the country constantly send him their most complex loans to close. In 2014, he put together a consortium of private investors to fund loans in-house that most lenders would reject. These include foreclosure bail-out loans and borrowers in bankruptcy.
Barry Deonarine
Director of Loan Operations
Barry has been a practicing attorney in New York for almost 30 years. He has represented countless buyers and sellers of real estate in transactions totalling millions of dollars. As Director of Loan Operations, Barry brings keen and grounded dealmaking experience to our borrowers needing funding for their projects. He understands that "time is money" and, while never sacrificing results for speed, he is singularly focused on achieving his clients' objectives rapidly and on the most favorable terms.
Barry holds an AB degree from Harvard University and a JD degree from Stanford Law School. Barry speaks fluent Spanish and is available to assist Spanish-speaking borrowers who need funding for their projects. Michelle Ammons
CFO
Michelle is a results-driven financial executive with over 25 years of experience in the mortgage, title and banking industries and extensive secondary market experience. She motivates others towards success with an enthusiastic management style utilizing organizational abilities and determination. Michelle has the ability to represent our borrowers with professionalism, integrity and confidence. She is committed to building long-lasting business relationships focused on growth and profitability.
